Join the Alas Phx Advisory Board
Advisory Board members serve in a non-governing, advisory capacity, without responsibility over legal or fiduciary matters, but instead offer insight, guidance, and feedback that help Alas Phx grow and better serve our communities.
As an Advisory Board member, you will:
- Offer strategic advice on the at-risk populations we serve, community needs, programs, and priorities.
- Share your professional expertise and/or lived experience to help shape our services, outreach, and advocacy efforts.
- Act as an ambassador for Alas Phx, connecting us to partners, communities, and opportunities that align with your comfort level.
- Provide feedback on major initiatives, messaging, and organizational policies from the perspective of those most impacted.
- Participate in occasional strategy conversations, retreats, or working sessions related to your area of knowledge or experience.
Appointment Terms
Each Advisory Board term is three years and may be renewed once. We aim to balance meaningful engagement with genuine respect for your time.

- Invitations to selected strategy retreats and planning sessions where we set direction for programs, partnerships, and organizational priorities.
- Opportunities to provide early input on major initiatives, campaigns, and new programs, so your perspective shapes decisions from the beginning.
Your voice will be a key part of how Alas Phx continues to grow in ways that are accountable to the communities it serves.
