University of Arizona Mobile Health Unit

Summary:

The UA Primary Prevention Mobile Health Unit, provides free preventive health screening assessments (i.e, Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Hemoglobin A1c, etc.) for individuals who normally would not seek medical attention, referrals to Federally Qualified Health Centers (i.e, Native Health, Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, Mountain Park, etc.), health education and pharmacy benefit saving program resources. Furthermore, the Mobile Health Unit provides additional services such as: HIV/Hep-C screening, skin cancer screening and flu vaccination through our affiliated healthcare partners (i.e., Native Health, Mayo Clinic, Phoenix Fire Department, Maricopa County Department of Public Health, etc.) when available.

The International Rescue Committee

Summary:

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization with the mission to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster, including the climate crisis, to survive, recover, and gain control over their future.

The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America.
