AZ Labor Trafficking Outreach (ALTO)_ MILPA Project

Summary:

AZ Labor Trafficking Outreach (ALTO)_ MILPA Project

What happens at a Milpa event?

We partner with organizations and institutions already trusted in the community – including churches, consulates, local businesses, and community centers. Each event brings together resources provided by our partners:

  • Legal Services: Access to attorneys or accredited representatives
Case Management Support: A general provider to help with navigation and referrals.
Medical services: Free health screenings provided on sight

Next Steps:

We are inviting community partners like you to consider hosting a Milpa event. Together, we can create safe spaces that connect individuals and families with the resources they need.

American Red Cross

Summary:

Armed conflict, international disasters and migration leave millions of people around the globe in urgent need of humanitarian assistance every year. As the world’s largest humanitarian network, Red Cross and Red Crescent teams help reconnect families separated by international crises through the Restoring Family Links (RFL) progarm.

The American Red Cross helps reconnect loved ones when:

  • Families are separated internationally as a result of conflict, disaster, migration or other humanitarian emergency.
  • Families have already tried normal channels of communication to reconnect.
  • The family member making the inquiry is able to provide essential information on the sought person.
  • The family member making the inquiry is a relative who had been in direct contact with the sought person before the crisis occurred.
